Svetlana Azrilian

Svetlana Azrilian, 57, of Lenexa, KS, died Monday, March 9, 2009 at her home. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 11, at The Louis Memorial Chapel. Burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. Svetlana was a self employed tailor, working in retail clothing repair. She was born in Kharkov, Ukraine and emigrated to the United States in August, 1979. Svetlana loved interior designing, loved to travel, enjoyed all fine arts such as theatre and sculpture and had many friends with long lasting friendships. She was active in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer run in each of the last 10 years. Svetlana is survived by her husband of 34 years, Sam Azrilian, of the home; daughters: Maya Azrilian, San Francisco, CA and Jessica Azrilian, Overland Park, KS. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
