Stuart Gregg Goldberg Obituary (1968 - 2014)

Stuart Gregg Goldberg, 45, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014. Graveside services will be at 12:30pm Friday, June 6, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a charity of one’s choice. Stuart was born December 8, 1968, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Lawrence and Deloris (Molloff) Goldberg. He was a lifelong area resident, having attended and graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School. Stuart was a former member of Congregation Beth Shalom and Temple Beth El. He was very charitable and friendly, had an unusual sense of humor and was interested in all kinds of sports memorabilia. Stuart was an avid sports fan especially enjoying Missouri Mavericks Hockey. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Goldberg, in 2007; his paternal grandparents: Maurice and Edythe Goldberg and his maternal grandparents: Ben and Minerva Molloff. Stuart is survived by his mother: Deloris Goldberg and his sister: Stephanie Goldberg, both of Overland Park, KS. He was a wonderful son and brother and will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
