Star Lavon Emerson Kupperman Obituary (2006)

Star Lavon Emerson Kupperman, 83, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at her home. Graveside services will be 1:00pm Friday, November 17, at Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Kupperman was a bookkeeper for Martin Printing Co., Kansas City, MO for many years. She also co-owned with her late husband, Alvin M. Kupperman, Twin Forks Resort on Bull Shoals Lake. Mrs. Kupperman was a volunteer for the Boy Scouts, Parents Club Secretary, Volunteer for Unity Temple on the Plaza and was a member of Women’s Chamber of Commerce in Kansas City. Mrs. Kupperman was born in Competition, MO and came to the Kansas City area in 1945. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Alvin M. Kupperman, in 1999. Mrs. Kupperman is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law: Donald L. Kupperman, Overland Park, KS; Kenneth and Lu Pei Kupperman, Pleasanton, CA; granddaughter: Ava Kupperman, Pleasanton, CA; numerous nieces and one nephew also survive.
