Stanley David Weintraub Obituary (2007)

Stanley David Weintraub, 63, of Overland Park, KS passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Graveside services will be 12:30pm, Sunday, January 28 at Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to Children’s Mercy Hospital. Mr. Weintraub co-owned the S. J. and B. Lamps. The business was closed in 2001 after over 45 years in business. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America and served as Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 53 at Kehilath Israel Synagogue, where he was a former member. Mr. Weintraub was preceded in death by sister: Barbara Radley and niece: Robyn Weintraub. He is survived by his sister: June Weintraub, Harrisonville, MO; nieces: Alissa Henderson, Indianapolis, IN, Monica Weintraub, Kansas City, MO; great-nephews: Christopher Griddine Indianapolis, IN, Maureece and Michael Weintraub, both of Kansas City, MO; great-nieces: Jazmyne Rainey, Kansas City, MO, Jaymee Henderson, Harrisonville, MO, Tyazia and Myazia Harris, both of Kansas City, MO. Mr. Weintraub will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
