Shirley Hakan Levin, 87, of Shawnee Mission, KS, died December 23, 2005 at Garden Terrace. Graveside services were held Friday, December 23 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Levin was preceded in death by her parents: Henry Hakan and Ida Bigus Hakan; her husband of 30 years, Marvin Levin, and a sister: Lynette Patz. She is survived by her son: Joseph M. Levin; sister-in-law: Betty Deutch; niece and her husband, Julie and John Hollerbach; all of Overland Park, KS; nephews and their wives: Larry and Judy Deutch, Des Moines, IA; Randal and Rosanne Deutch, Overland Park, KS; cousins: Stanley Chambers, Prairie Village, KS and his daughter and son-in-law: Jeannie and Marion Nickel, JR; JoAnn Mackler, Phoenix, AZ; Richard Chambers and his wife, Yonako, and their son Jim, all of Phoenix, AZ; Norman Wolf, Seattle, WA; Harriette Denebeim, Prairie Village, KS; Lucille Rubin, Overland Park, KS; Melvin Hakan and his wife, Rowena, Overland Park, KS; Bob Hakan and his wife, Terry, Tulsa, OK; Victoria Morris and her husband, Manny, Overland Park, KS; Barton Hakan and his wife, Carm, Kansas City, MO; June Fogel, Scottsdale, AZ; 2nd cousins, Kenneth and Elma Bigus, Overland Park, KS; Harriette Bigus, New York, NY; Mrs. Levin will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, sister, daughter and cousin.
