SARA RUTH KRANTZ Obituary (1953 - 2015)

Sara Ruth Krantz, 62, passed away December 11, 2015 in Ottawa, KS. She was born June 20, 1953 to Miriam and Harry Krantz at Menorah Hospital in Kansas City. Sara is survived by her mother: Miriam; siblings: Anne Krantz (Myron Perlman), David Krantz (Lisa Pemstein), Rachel Krantz (Edward Goldstein); nieces and nephews: Sharon and Ellen Makowsky, Isaac and Michael Krantz-Perlman, Maya and Hannah Krantz, and Debbie Sams and family of Ottawa, Kansas. For the last 14 years of her life, Sara was cared for lovingly by Debbie Sams, who gave Sara a life with dignity despite her severe developmental disability. She also received great kindness from her medical providers in Lawrence and Ottawa, and from the staff at Community Living Opportunities (CLO), for which her family is deeply grateful.
