Sandra L. Birnbaum, 64, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2006. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 29 at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Ave. Burial at Sheffield Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. The family suggests contributions to The American Diabetes Association. Mrs. Birnbaum worked as a bookkeeper in her husband''s accounting firm. She was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area until the couple''s move to Las Vegas in 2001. She was a member of Kehilath Israel Synagogue and a former member of its Sisterhood. She was a former member of B''nai B''rith Women and Hadassah. Sandra is survived by her husband of 42 years Marvin, of the home; son: Donald Birnbaum, Littleton, CO; daughters: Lisa Birnbaum and Sherri and her husband Lloyd Hook of Las Vegas, NV; sisters: Natalie Nearenberg and Phyllis and her husband Himie Wainstock; grandchildren: Brandon and Amber Hook and Kara, Seidelle and Michael Birnbaum.
