Sandra Wexler Bassman

Sandra Wexler Bassman, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 12th. The only daughter of Harry and Rose (Saper) Wexler, Sandy was born March 15, 1943 in Watertown, South Dakota but spent the majority of her life in Kansas City; graduating from Paseo High School.

Sandy spent her life caring for others. She cared for her parents and was a nanny for a number of families; loving the children and their parents as her own.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Richard and Robert Wexler.

Sandy is survived by those who loved her: daughter and son-in law, Jackie and Allan Rosenstock; grandchildren: Ashly, Gary, Lizzy and Nick; loving nieces, Amy Wexler Weaver, Jessica Wexler, Sarah Wexler Golladay and their children: Kylan, Mia, Sebastian, Caleb, Samuel and Ainsley; brother and sister-law, Donald and Paula Wexler, as well as the many caregivers she had in her life after her stroke.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 16th at 10 a.m at Sheffield Cemetery, 6100 Wilson Rd., Kansas City, MO 64123.
