Roz began her career at age 18, in banking at First National Bank, then continued to grow with Centerre, moving up the ladder, thru the ranks becoming a trust administrator under Meyer Brown, for many years as a trust specialist at Bank of America. Her expertise gained her a stellar reputation with many skills in accuracy, technique, insight and especially charisma with clients. She contracted M.S. and became an advocate for the then new Baclifan pump, by talking to others and explaining how it had improved her quality of life over many years. Her exceptional intelligence and
compassion never waned. However, it was her remarkable courage that set her apart and will never be duplicated. Her outreach to her 4 young nephews inspired them to greater heights of achievement and honor, but most of all, they benefited from her loving
heart and kindred spirit. Roz graduated from South West High School and attended the University of Missouri, Columbia. She was a member of Kehilath Israel Synagogue and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Roz was preceded in death by her father, Allen Weiner in 2004. She is survived by her mother: JoAnne Weiner, Kansas City, MO; brother: Bruce Weiner, Kansas City, MO; sister: Wendy Claster, Israel; nephews: Erik Claster and his wife Karen, Israel; Zachary Claster, Overland Park, KS; Scott Claster, Israel; Alex Claster, New York City, NY; great-nephews: Amiad and Eldar Claster, both of Israel. Her family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Arthur Allen at St. Joseph Medical Center, for his kindness and attention during her treatments since 1993 and to her caregiver, Tina Kramer, who has taken care of her for the past 5 years. Special heartfelt thanks go out to her numerous devoted friends. Never to be forgotten are the innumerable gifted and caring physicians and nurses who enhanced the quality and length of her life.
