Richard Gordon Fear, 43, of Brooklyn, NY, formerly of the Kansas City area, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Private family services. He received his BA in Photo Journalism from the University of Missouri – Columbia and his MA from the School of the Visual Arts, New York City, NY. Richard’s passion was photography. He always had a camera of some kind in his hands. He is survived by his father: Marshall Gordon, Vail, CO; mother and step-father: Elaine and Carl Macan, Overland Park, KS; sister and brother-in-law: Cindy and Mike Kerwin, Leawood, KS; step-brothers: Charles
Macan and Robert Macan; step-sisters: Carla Dyer and Amy Obermueller; Aunts: Eileen Pearlman and her husband, Art, Pacific Palisades, CA; Suzanne Aron, Mission, KS; nieces and nephews also survive.
