Richard Aaron Hankin, 79, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Fri, June 8, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Avenue. Ivanhoe St., Denver, CO 80237 or The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah. Mr. Hankin was Director of Maintenance for Milgram Food Stores for 33 years. He then was an International Sales Executive for Unarco, a grocery cart manufacturing company in Oklahoma City, OK, until retiring in 1994. Mr. Hankin was a member of The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Hankin was born in Kansas City, MO, raised in Nevada, MO and lived most of his life in the Kansas City area. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Hankin. Mr. Hankin is survived by his wife of 57 years, Harriet Hankin, of the home; sons and daughters-in-law: Larry and Gail Hankin, Denver, CO; Steven and Joelle Hankin, Boston, MA; daughter: Susan Donaldson, Tucson, AZ; mother: Ida Reed, Overland Park, KS; grandchildren: Jennifer and Max Heyman, Denver, CO; Michael and Christina Hankin, Denver, CO; Gabriel Hankin and his fiancée, Arielle Green, Chicago, IL; Ryan Donaldson and Rachael Donaldson, both of Tucson, AZ; great-grandchildren: Danielle, Matthew, Samuel, Maya and Alexander Aaron. Nieces and nephews also survive.
