Niles Kratchman Obituary (2007)

Niles Kratchman, 60, of Olathe, KS, passed away Monday, March 19, 2007 at Olathe Medical Center. Memorial services will be 2:00pm Thursday, March 22, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah, 12320 Nall, Overland Park, KS. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to Airedale Terrier Rescue & Adoption, 1123 Vesper Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103. Mr. Kratchman was in the Medical Corp in the U.S. Army for 24 years. He then worked as an L.P.N. in the prison system. Mr. Kratchman was a former member of Kehilath Israel Synagogue, a member of the American Legion and was a member of the Boy Scouts of America as a young man. He was born in Kansas City, MO and was a life long area resident. Mr. Kratchman was preceded in death by his father, Alex Kratchman in 1992 and his mother, Helen Ginsberg Kratchman, in 1995. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Terry Kratchman, of the home; son and daughter-in-law: Bryan and Kathy Kratchman, Sherwood, OR; daughter: Emyli Kratchman, Overland Park, KS; brothers and sisters-in-law: Arnold and Joe Ann Kratchman, Overland Park, KS; Steven and Carmen Kratchman, St. Louis, MO; sister and brother-in-law: Norma and Ed Bradley, Ventura, CA; his beloved grandchildren: Sarah, Sean, Jessica and Aubrey Kratchman.
