Meredith F. Krigel Obituary (2008) - Sun City West, Arizona

Meredith Krigel, 88, died in her sleep Wednesday, July 9, 2008. Formerly residing in the Kansas City area, Meredith had been a resident of Sun City West, AZ for 14 years. There will be a brief service of remembrance at 11:00am Friday, July 25 at the Rose Hill Cemetery Mausoleum. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to charity of one’s choice. Meredith was a member of Temple Beth Shalom in Sun City and a former member of The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah in Kansas City, MO. She was a member of National Honor Society, Quill and Scroll, and a former member of National Council for Jewish Women, Marcella Rodin Club, President of Black-Gold District of Girl Scouts of America. Meredith was ladies 18-hole club champion of Meadowbrook Golf and Country Club in Prairie Village, Kansas in 1975 and 1979. She attended Kansas City Junior College and University of Illinois. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Alan Krigel in 1972, her husband of 55 years, A. Ralph Krigel in 1997 and her grandson, Brett Aaron Swade. Survivors include her daughter, Bee Dee Greenfield (David), granddaughter Corrie Schwartz Meador (Eric), sister Gustava Alport and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
