Dr. Marvin Kahn, 82 of Prairie Village, KS died March 12, 2016. Private family services were held on Monday. The family suggests memorial contributions to Ohev Sholom Synagogue or Jewish Family Services. Marvin was born August 20, 1933 in Baltimore, MD to Edward and Mary Kahn. He worked as a physician for many years and was a veteran in the U.S. Air Force. He was an active member of Ohev Sholom Synagogue. After retirement his proudest accomplishments were singing and teaching himself to read Torah Trope. Marvin is survived by his wife of many years, Lonna Esterson Kahn; daughters, Robyn Kahn Federman, Susan Kahn; son, Richard (Carole) Kahn; grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Daniel Kahn and Sara and Rachel Federman; sister, Barbara Kahn; brother, Elliot Kahn, sisters-in-law, Judith Chernak, Marilyn Stern, Joan Esterson and brother-in-law, Dr. Joseph Esterson.
