LYNNE I. RABIN Obituary (1938 - 2016)

Lynne I. Rabin, 78 of Overland Park, KS passed away October 5, 2016. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, October 7, 2016 at Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Lynne was born September 6, 1938 in Kansas City, MO to Paul and Bess Berman. She graduated from Southwest High School in Kansas City thereafter attended college at the University of Illinois and later finished her Bachelor’s degree in Education at the University of Missouri Kansas City. Lynne worked at the Jewish Community Center for over 12 years where she performed a variety of functions, including the organization of the annual book fare. Lynne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Morley Steinberg and son, Andrew Rabin. Survivors include her daughter, Janet Sieben (Dan); sons, Mark Rabin (Faith), Daniel Rabin (Angela); brother, Mike Berman (Alexa); grandchildren, Ryan Sieben, Samantha Sieben, Justin Rabin (Angie), Ashley Carey (Zach) and great granddaughter, Alayna Rabin.
