L. Michael “Mickey” Weintraub, 64, of Sedona, AZ, formerly of Overland Park, KS, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2007, at Menorah Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10:00am Tuesday, December 18, at Congregation Beth Torah, 6100 W. 127th St., Overland Park, KS. Burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Ronald McDonald House. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, came to the Kansas City area in 1966 then moved to Sedona, AZ in 2005. Mr. Weintraub served in the U.S. Air Force reserve, followed by a 39 year career as sales representative for PBM Men’s Clothing in Kansas City and Minneapolis before his retirement in 2005. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Rosemary “Rose” Weintraub; son and daughter-in-law: Craig and Jenn Weintraub, Berwyn, PA, their children: Sam and Alex Weintraub; daughter and son-in-law: Meredith and Blaine Nye, Overland Park, KS, and their children: Jaiden and CaiLyn Nye; He was predeceased by his parents, Morris and Henrietta Shohen Weintraub. Mickey, a very proud family man, made a memorable impact in people’s lives everywhere he went. He was well respected and loved by all.
