Leon G. Snitz Obituary (2007)

Leon G. Snitz, age 101, passed away November 16, 2007 in Peoria, AZ. Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Raytown, MO. The family requests contributions in his memory to a charity of your choice. He was born in Kansas City, MO and has been a resident of the Phoenix area for the past 36 years. He was a retired credit manager for Fairbanks Morse and Company and past president of the Kansas City Missouri Credit Association. He was also a former member of Beth Emeth Congregation of Sun City West and Beth El Congregation in Phoenix. Survivors include his daughter Geri (Gary) Kolko, sons Irwin (Elissa Rose) Snitz, Hal (Phyllis) Snitz and Jerry (Lynn) Harris, brother Fred (Jeannie) Snitz, 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Rae in 1975, his second wife Regina in 1998 and daughter Goldie Harris Cohen
