Lawrence Howard Goldberg Obituary (2007)

Lawrence H. Goldberg, 68, of Overland Park, KS passed away Friday December 21, 2007. Graveside services will be at 1:30pm Sunday December 23 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, contributions are suggested to Rosebrooks Center at www.rosebrooks.org. Mr. Goldberg was the son of Maurice and Edythe Goldberg. The family moved to Kansas City from Lamar, MO when Mr. Goldberg was a young child and he has been a lifelong resident. Mr. Goldberg worked in retail auto parts sales and in the 1970’s he and his father owned a parking lot behind the main post office in Kansas City. Mr. Goldberg was a member of Beth Shalom Synagogue, Masonic Lodge #436 in Overland Park, The Ararat Shrine and the ROMEOs. Mr. Goldberg was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son Stuart Goldberg, daughter Stephanie Goldberg, both of Overland Park, KS and his brother Marvin Goldberg, Kansas City, MO.
