DR. LAWRENCE BUNSICK Obituary (1925 - 2016)

Dr. Lawrence Bunsick passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Kansas University Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Ave. Kindly omit flower, the family suggests contributions to the University of Arkansas Multiple Myeloma Center. 4301 W. Markham, Slot 816, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205. Dr. Bunsick was born in NYC and graduated NYU with a degree in music and arranged music and compositions of Lawrence Welk after graduation. Larry, as most called him, was caring and had a likable, soft spoken personality about him. At the age of 35 he decided upon a career in dentistry and received his DDS degree from the University of Buffalo and completed his orthodontic residency at UMKC School of Dentistry. Dr. Bunsick practiced orthodontics in the Kanas City area for many years and enjoyed providing smiling faces to many patients. Dr. Bunsick is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Elsie Haber Bunsick; dear father and mother in law of Stan (Denise) Bunsick and Barbara (Jeff) Weiner. Most loved Bapa to Brett (Mara) Bunsick, Robyn (Chad) Bricker, Steffeni Bunsick, David (Rachel) Weiner and Rebecca (Jason) Conley.
