Klara Kon Obituary (1917

Klara Kon, 92, Overland Park, KS passed away Sunday, November 14, 2009 at Menorah Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 3:30pm Tuesday, November 17 at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Ave. Burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to Jewish Family Services, 8080 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64114. Klara was born in the Ukraine. She served in the Russian Army in 1941 and 1942 during WW II. Klara came to the United States in 1990. She became a citizen in 1995 at age 78. She was a member of the Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah. The focus of Klara’s life was her family, taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren and more recently her great-grandchildren. She was a great cook and will be missed by her family. She was preceded in death by her sister Faina Breitberg. She is survived by son and Daughter-in-law : Zinovy and Alla Kon; daughter and son-in-law: Leonora and Edward Kishinevsky, all of Overland Park; grandchildren and their spouses: Alexander and Diana Kishinevsky, San Francisco, CA, Steven and Victoria Kishinevsky, Olathe, KS, Svetlana Webster, Overland Park, KS, Alexander and Tanya Kon, Overland Park, KS; great-grandchildren: Jaden, Katrina, Ariel, Talia, Eli and Elan.
