JUDITH L. GILGORE Obituary (1941 - 2015)

Judith L. Gilgore, 73, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Wednesday, April 15, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, MO with burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Hadassah, Greater Kansas City Chapter, 12008 Horton #56, Overland Park, KS 66209. She was born in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Minnie and Manuel Goldman, and was a lifelong area resident. Judith attended Southwest High School and the University of Oklahoma. She was a member of Hadassah and B’nai B’rith. Judith loved playing scrabble, reading, golfing, traveling with family and friends and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Dr. Alfred Gilgore and her parents. Judith is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Alison Gilgore and Jonathan Samet; Valerie Gilgore and Jim Rudolph; brothers and sister-in-law: Stan and Hedy Goldman; Morrie Goldman; sisters and brothers-in-law: Eileen and Tim Haats; Debra and Tom James; sister-in-law, Eda Gilgore Feder and husband, Donn; grandchildren: Zev Rudolph Gilgore and Jamie Rudolph Gilgore; many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
