Judy Kraft Obituary (2007) - Kansas City, Missouri

Judy Kraft, 71, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Monday, July 9, 2007 at her home of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). At Judy’s request, private services will be in Omaha, NE and Kansas City at a later date. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to North Care Hospice, the ALS Association Keith Worthington Chapter or the ALS Clinic Center at KU Medical Center. Judy was born to Nathan H. and Betty Lou Jacobson Kraft. She began her career with TWA in Kansas City in the 1950’s. TWA transferred her to New York in the 1960’s where she became the administrative assistant to the Chairman of the Board of TWA, retiring in 1985. She then was personal assistant to Sally Jesse Raphael in 1989-1990. Judy returned to the Kansas City area in 1992 where she owned Lattice, Inc. She was a member of The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah, it’s Sisterhood, Women of TWA and was on the Board of Directors of Nebraska Society of New York. Judy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of almost 8 years, Bruce Montgomery, of the home; Many loving cousins and other family members also survive. Judy chose to make a tissue donation for the ALS Research Program @ Northwestern University to gain more insight into this disease.
