John B. Rose, 77, passed away Friday June 23, 2006 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Funeral servicees 3:00pm, Monday, June 26 at Louis Memorial Chapel 6830 Troost Ave. Burial Rose Hill Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers; the family suggest contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice.Mr. Rose was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. He graduated the University of Missouri at Columbia and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Rose was a certified public accountant and worked as an auditor at the U.S. Department of Transportation for 23 years, retiring in 1990. He was a former member of The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.Mr. Rose is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Marian, of the home; son and daughter-in-law: Karl and Rachel Rose, Olathe; daughters and son-in-law: Irene and Galen King, W. Lafayette, IN, Joyce Rose, Ottawa, KS; sisters and brother-in-law: Estelle Berman, Overland Park, Leah and Mel Hurwich, Columbia, MD.; grand- children: Melaura, Aaron, Shoshana, Seth, Phillip, Ariel and Alexander.
