JoAnn Hollub

JoAnn Hollub, 76, of Overland Park, KS passed away Friday, April 27, 2007. Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday, April 30th at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Avenue. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to The Daniel Hollub Rose Garden, c/o Prairie Village City Hall, 7700 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS 66208. Mrs. Hollub was a member of Beth Shalom Synagogue and its Sisterhood. She taught nursery school at Beth Shalom. Mrs. Hollub was also a member of Hadassah. She attended the University of Missouri, Columbia where she earned her degree in education. Mrs. Hollub was a member Phi Sigma Sigma while at the university. Mrs. Hollub was an antiques dealer for over 30 years at her shop, JoAntiques at 45th and State Line in Kansas City. Mrs. Hollub was preceded in death by her son Daniel Hollub in 1988. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Sheldon, of the home; son and daughter-in-law: Seth and Kari Hollub, Bucyrus, KS; daughters and sons-in-law: Lynda and Howard Hirsekorn, Lenexa, KS and Michelle and Dr. Gregory Peppes, Leawood, KS; seven grandchildren: Sydney, Emily and Jacob Hirsekorn, Steve, Matt and Sara Peppes and Jordan Hollub; brother-in-law and his wife: Elliott and Kathy Hollub, Leawood, KS; aunt: Bernice Max, Kansas City, MO.
