Jeanette Miller Frank, November 26, 1919 to April 5, 2013 has passed on and reunited with her family. Funeral services will be at 2:30pm Sunday, April 7, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Ave. Burial in Sheffield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah or a charity of your choice.
Born the youngest of four children, and the only daughter, Jeanette grew up working at the family dry cleaning business, with her parents and brothers, who have all preceded her in death. She worked for the IRS after marrying Herman Frank, her loving husband of 46 years, and donated significant time performing volunteer work for the Jewish Community Center and Hadassah.
Jeanette leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Ileene and Steven Simon; granddaughters and their husbands, Jennifer Simon and Matthew Trokenheim, Stacey Aviva and Matthew Solomon; great-grandsons, Noah Trokenheim, Eli and Jonah Solomon; nephew, Marshall Miller and his wife Janet. She will be remembered for her determination and spunk, as a “hot-roder” in her motorized cart, and the joy that she both gathered from and gave to her family and friends.
