Jack B. Fichman, 87, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010. Funeral services 2:30 pm Friday, March 19 at The Louis Memorial Chapel. Burial Rose Hill Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to Kansas City Hospice House or the Alzheimer’s Association. Mr. Fichman was born October 14, 1922 in St. Joseph, MO to Fred and Elizabeth Fichman. They later moved to Kansas City. He served in the US Army in WWII. He owned an automotive sales business in Kansas City. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sister-in-law: Robert and Eve Fichman, Ferdinand Fichman; grandson: Michael Fichman. He is survived by his wife Charlotte, of 59 years, of the home; sons and daughters-in-law: Jan and Anita Fichman, Leawood, KS, Ken and Rose Fichman, Blue Springs, MO, Richard and Suzi Fichman, Kansas City, MO; grandchildren: Lauren, Adam (Emma Bland) Valerie, Benjamin, Geoffrey, Jacob and Andy; great-granddaughter: Ariawna; sister-in-law: Joyce Fichman.
