Irma “Chickie” Dollinger passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Norm Dollinger of Overland Park; her three children, Mark (Deborah) Dollinger, Leawood, KS, Todd (Karen Kozek) Dollinger, Shorashim, Israel, and Dr. Toni (Rabbi Barry) Dollinger Block, San Antonio, TX; nine grandchildren: Shari (Eric) Magnus and Rachael (Paul) Nagrowski, all of Atlanta, GA; Danielle and Aaron Dollinger, Leawood, KS; Ruth, Sarah and Hannah Dollinger, Israel; and Robert and Daniel Dollinger Block, San Antonio, TX; sisters-in-law Roberta (Saul) Alperstein, Scottsdale, AZ and Ellen (Don) Creinin, Chicago, IL; several beloved nieces and nephews, including Marcy (Dr. Roger) Goldenberg, Stilwell, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents Selma and Morris Whitebloom, and by her brothers and sister, Stanley Whitebloom, Charlie Whitebloom, Barbara Goodman and Bobby Whitebloom. Chickie was a resident of Village Shalom and a Life Member of the National Council of Jewish Women. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, December 20, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rabbi’s Barry H.D. Block and Rabbi Alan Cohen with interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric Magnus, Paul Nagrowski, Philip Whitebloom, Dr. Roger Goldenberg, Seymour Kaplan and Dennis Small In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to NCJW, Village Shalom, Temple Beth-El in San Antonio, TX or a charity of the donor’s choice.
