Ida Pearl Russell, 82, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2005 at Village Shalom. Funeral services will be 1:30pm Tuesday, September 27, in the Yukon Chapel at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Blakely Russell Kay Scholarship Fund at Johnson County Community College, 12345 College Blvd, O.P., KS 66210 or to Village Shalom, 5500 W. 123rd St., O.P., KS 66209. Mrs. Russell was a member of The Temple, Congregation B"nai Jehudah, its Sisterhood and Hadassah. A life long resident, Mrs. Russell was born in Kansas City to Sam and Katy Feingold and in addition to her parents, was preceded in death in 1995 by her husband of 48 years, Larry R. Russell, her brother, Harry Feingold, brother-in-law Eddie Kantor, sister-in-law: Helen Feingold, granddaughter Blakely Kay and nephew Mitch Feingold. She is survived by a very special companion, Jerry Shumaker; daughters and sons-in-law: Terry and Lance Goldberg of Leawood, KS, Barbara Feingold of Port Washington, NY and Ellen and Mike Rogers of Banner Elk, NC; granddaughters and grandson-in-law, Leigh and Matt Suskin of Denver, CO and Lauren Goldberg of Los Angeles, CA; great-granddaughter, Sophie Suskin; sister: Tillie Skeer of Overland Park, KS; sisters-in-law Deb Feingold of Overland Park, KS and Renee Lerner, of Port Saint Lucie, FL; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nieces.
