HARRIET G. HERTZFIELD Obituary (1931 - 2018)

Harriet G. Hertzfield, 86, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Brookdale Overland Park. Funeral services will be at 10:30am Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in the Yukon Chapel at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice. Harriet was born August 27, 1931 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Isadore and Dorothy (Rankel) Stoup and was a lifelong area resident. Most of her working career was as a loan officer in Savings Banks and worked until she was 72. Harriet was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom and the ABWA (American Business Women’s Association) She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Morris L. Hertzfield; a son: Stephen Mark Hertzfield and her brother: Arthur Stoup. Harriet is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law: Bruce and Lori Hertzfield and Jeffrey Hertzfield; grandchildren: Nicholas Hertzfield, Rachel Pires, Louis Pires, Melanie Hertzfield, Samuel Hertzfield and Daniel Hertzfield.
