Frances E. Taylor Obituary (2007)

Frances E. Taylor, 91, of Fairway, KS, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2007 at ManorCare. Graveside services will be 12 noon Sunday, November 11, at Sheffield Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to a charity of one’s choice. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Beth Israel Abraham & Voliner Synagogue, its predecessor, Tefares Israel Synagogue where she was very active, past President & Advisor to BBG in Kansas City and, in honor of her mother Molly, gave an award to the most helpful woman in the sisterhood from 1963 to the mid 1980’s. She was born in Kansas City, MO and was a life long area resident. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jacob Taylor, who died in 1998 and her sister, Marion Furr. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Richard and Jean Taylor, Olathe, KS; Darryl and Susan Taylor, Overland Park, KS; grandchildren: David and Natalie Dodgion, Nancy and Kevin Tanquary, Ira and Brenda Taylor, Melissa and Richard Taylor-Standridge, Beth Taylor, Allyson Taylor, Cheryl and David Terry, Ivy Taylor and Steven Taylor; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
