FLOREINE J WORSTELL Obituary (1925 - 2018)

Floreine J Worstell, 92, passed away peacefully at Village Shalom on Sunday October 28, 2018. She was born in Garden City Kansas on December 25, 1925. She later moved to Cleveland, Ohio and married Adolph Stern. Together they had three children Reuben, Judy and Regan. They ran the Miami restaurant until Adolph’s death in 1959 and she continued to run it until 1966. She then moved to the Kansas City area where she worked for the Connecticut General Insurance Co. Later she transferred to Chicago where she married Jene Worstell, who also predeceased her. Floreine leaves behind her two sons Reuben and Regan. Her daughter predeceased her. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Village Shalom on Thursday November 1 at 6pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Village Shalom or the charity of your choice. The family wishes to thank Village Shalom for their extraordinary care and kindness towards Floreine.
