Eugene Belson

Eugene Belson, 90, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa. Graveside services will be 10:30am Monday, January 30, at Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Gene was a residential master carpenter for many years before his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Dora Belson; and his brothers and sister-in-law: Leo Belson and Morris and Ann Belson.
Gene is survived by his nephews: Ian Belson and wife Roni and Mark Belson, all of Overland Park, KS; great-nieces and nephews: Avi and Andi Belson and their five children; Ariel and Aron Wolgel and Leah Belson.
He loved to sing and listen to classical music. He enjoyed the outdoors, animals, long-distance bicycle riding and tennis. He was a humble and creative man with a free spirit who loved his family and lived a simple life.
