Emanuel “Manny” Zoglin, 91, of Leawood, KS, passed away Friday November 24, 2006. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Sunday, November 26 at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Avenue. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice.Mr. Zoglin was born in Kansas City and was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Kansas State University in Agriculture. He was a partner with his brother in Zoglin Brothers Builders for 40 years. They were home and apartment building contractors. He served in WWII with the 1905 Army Engineer Battalion which built bridges that were part of the Burma Road. Mr. Zoglin was a member of B’nai B’rith and the American Civil Liberties Union.He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rose, of the home; sons: Richard and his wife Charla Krupp, Paul Zoglin, all of New York, New York, Larry Zoglin, San Francisco, CA; daughter: Janet Zoglin, Miami, FL; brother and sister-in-law Frank and Mollie Zoglin, Prairie Village, KS; and many nephews and neices.
