ELISA "LIZA" COPELAND Obituary (1958 - 2016)

Elisa “Liza” Copeland, 57, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Menorah Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11:00am Sunday, March 20th, 2016 at Rose Hill Cemetery, 6900 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, MO. Elisa was born May 24, 1958, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Bernard and Maxine (Godfried) Copeland and was a lifelong Overland Park area resident. She loved playing cards, especially a Pan player, loved dogs and considered herself a dog mom. Elisa was a proud Breast Cancer Survivor. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. She was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her partner, Bill Schneider; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Melanie Copeland, Alan and Gayle Copeland; nephews, Ryan and Trey Copeland and many loving cousins.
