Elayne M. "Lanie" Armstrong-Forgy Obituary (1946 - 2011)

Elayne M. “Lanie” Armstrong-Forgy, 64, of Leawood, KS, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Menorah Medical Center. Wake services will be 4:00-8:00pm Wednesday, May 18 at the Nardone Funeral Home, Watertown, MA. Funeral Mass will be 9:00am Thursday, May 19 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Belmont, MA. Burial will be at Newton Cemetery, Newton, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Menorah Medical Center Intensive Care Unit. Lanie was the owner of “Babe on a Broom” for the past 10 years. Previously she was a National Accounts Sales Executive for Sysco Corporation. Prior to this, she owned King Produce Co. in California. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Henrietta Guzzi. Lanie is survived by her husband, Stephen Forgy; sons: Rocco Jason Mangel, Jonathan Armstrong and Ryan Forgy; daughter: Jeneen Mangel; brothers and sister-in-law: James Guzzi and Thomas and Susan Guzzi; sister and brother-in-law: Stephanie and Richard LeForce and two grandchildren: Amara Elayne Armstrong and Ariana Jeneen Armstrong. Lanie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
