Eileen S. Markowitz, 79, of Milledgeville, GA, passed away Monday, March 5, 2007. Graveside services will be 10:30am Wednesday, March 7, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to a charity of one’s choice.Mrs. Markowitz was a bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Josh’s Couffiers in Kansas City, MO.She was a former member of Beth Shalom Synagogue, National Council of Jewish Women and Hadassah. Mrs. Markowitz was preceded in death by her parents: Melvin Z. and Julia Sanell Hoffman; her husband: Julius “Josh” Markowitz, in 1993 and her daughter: Lois Bialac, in 2007.She is survived by her son: Jerry Levinson, Overland Park, KS; brother and sister-in-law: Arthur W. “Bill” and Rebecca Hoffman, La Quinta, CA; son-in-law: Rick Bialac, Milledgeville, GA; grandchildren: Josh Okun, St. Louis, MO; Sherry Rudnak, San Francisco, CA; great-granddaughter: Maggie Jade Okun.
