Dorothy B. Koffman Obituary (2007) - Overland Park, Kansas

Dorothy B. Koffman, 88, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2007 at St. Luke’s - Plaza. Graveside services will be 12:30pm Sunday, March 11, at Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to Kehilath Israel Synagogue or a charity of one’s choice. Mrs. Koffman worked in the clerical department at the Jewish Community Center for 20 years before her retirement in the late 1980’s. She was a life member of Kehilath Israel Synagogue, was a member of its Sisterhood, Club 100 and was treasurer of the Community Service League @ the Jewish Community Center. Mrs. Koffman was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, David Koffman in 1992; brothers: Joe Katz and I.G. Katz; sisters: Celia Birnbaum and Rose Belove. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Francie and Fred Nelson, Phoenix, AZ; son: Steve Koffman, of the home; brother and sister-in- law: Stanley and Harriet Katz, Overland Park, KS; grandchildren: Ami and Todd Davidson, Phoenix, AZ; Bret and Shawna Nelson, Phoenix, AZ; Gayle A. Koffman, Chicago, IL; great-grandchildren: Jeremy and Tyler Davidson; Destiny Conrad and Landon Nelson.
