David F. Jacobson Obituary (2008) - Overland Park, Kansas

David F. Jacobson, 70, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Funeral services will be 12 noon Sunday, June 22, at The Louis Memorial Chapel. Cremation to follow. Mr. Jacobson was a former member of Beth Shalom Synagogue and a current member of Christ Episcopal Church and the Lions Club of which he is a Past District Governor of 17-K7. He was born in St. Louis, MO and came to the Kansas City area as a toddler. Mr. Jacobson was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Peggy Jacobson, of the home; children and their spouses: Eric and Terri Jacobson, Marietta, GA; Shelley and Neil Mann, Woodstock, GA; Terry and Jennifer Jacobson, Clayton, NC; grandchildren: Jonah and Hilit Jacobson, Marietta, GA; Abby and Rachel Jacobson, Clayton, NC; Daniyar Mann, Woodstock, GA.
