Dana Jeanne McCollam Allison Obituary (1977 - 2013)

Dana Jeanne McCollam Allison, 36, of Olathe, KS, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013. Memorial services will be at 10:00am Friday, July 12, at Unity Church, 10300 Antioch Rd., Overland Park, KS 66212. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Valley Hope, 1415 Ashley Rd., P.O. Box 398, Boonville, MO 65233-0398 or Wayside Waifs. Dana was born June 24, 1977, the daughter of Cathy and David McCollam and was a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Olathe South High School and Mid America Nazarene University where she received her B.A. in Management and Human Relations. Dana worked for Target in Olathe, and was a member of Life Church, also in Olathe. She was preceded in death by her father, David McCollam III; her paternal grandfather, David McCollam II and her maternal grandparents, Thelma and Jack Leibach. Dana is survived by her husband of 5 years, Eric J. Allison; sons: Roman Allison and Jacob Taylor, and her daughter: Aubrey Allison; mother and father: Cathy and Craig Caplan; brother: Wesley McCollam; sisters: Hannah and Sarah Caplan; Jacqueline Hamilton; all her loving cousins, aunts and uncles, and her boxer, Morgan.
