CARY J. LIEBERMAN Obituary (1941 - 2015)

Cary J. Lieberman, 73, passed away March 5, 2015. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 8, 2pm at Louis Memorial Chapel. Burial Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to: the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association or the Beagle Freedom Project. Cary was born September 2, 1941 in Topeka, KS. He moved to Kansas City in 1947. Cary attended Southwest High School and Denver University. He was a member of B’nai B’rith and Beth Shalom Synagogue. Cary was the owner of Cary Built Homes, a home building and remodeling business. He was preceded in death by his parents: David and Lillian Lieberman and in-laws: Charlotte and Isadore Shafton. Cary is survived by his wife Sherry Shafton Lieberman of 49 years; his children: Jeffrey Lieberman of Oceanside, CA; Mindy Allen Wright; grandson: Hutton Wright both of Valley Village, CA; brother and wife: Mickey and Carla Lieberman of Overland Park, KS; sister and husband: Vicki and Richard Helfand of Leawood; brother-in-law: Joel Shafton of Olathe, KS and sister-in-law: Andrea Duarte Rambo.
