Carol Ann "Mrs. Chana" Planzer Weinstock Obituary (2021)

Mrs. Chana (Carol Ann) Planzer Weinstock, 81, passed away Sept. 5 at her daughter's home in Israel. She was a Judaic teacher in Kansas City for 44 years. She volunteered for the sisterhood of BIAV synagogue and headed the Chevrah Kadisha, the Jewish Burial Society for 14 years. She was a member of Congregation BIAV and the Chabad House. She was very involved in the community at large. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Dr.Louis Weinstock and a beloved mother to Stephanie Weiss, Debbie Blachor and Moshe Simcha Weinstock. She took pride in her 12 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. She leaves a sister, Janet Price(Harold) and brother Neil Planzer(Gloria). In lieu of gifts, please do a good deed in her memory.
