Beverly Elaine Mann, 76, of Overland Park, KS passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008 at The Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Funeral services 10:00am, Sunday May 11 at the Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Ave. Burial Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Mrs. Mann was born in Kansas City, MO to George and Mildred Ellis and was a life long area resident. She worked for a wholesale pharmaceuticals company as a secretary. Mrs. Mann loved to travel, play cards and be with family and friends who will greatly miss her. Mrs. Mann was a member of Beth Shalom Synagogue and its sisterhood, Hadassah and ORT. Mrs. Mann was preceded in death by her parents and brother Donald Ellis. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Milton, of the home; sons and daughters-in-law: Rick Mann and Sonia Levin, Overland Park, KS, Phil and Beth Mann, Solon, OH, Jeff Mann and Mara Barry, Buffalo Grove, IL; brother and sister-in-law: Bernard and Carole Ellis, Overland Park, KS; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Barbara and Bernard Birnbaum, Overland Park, KS; grandsons: Danny Barry, Marty Mann, Michael Mann and Joel Mann; granddaughters: Morgan Mann, Shira Mann and Abby Mann; nieces: Stacy Brown, Andrea Ellis and Patty Friedman; nephews: Steve Brown, Mark Ellis, Gary Friedman and Bruce Birnbaum; many cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
