Bernice "Bernie" Snyder

Bernice Snyder, 76, Overland Park, KS, passed away Friday March 26, 2010 at Menorah Medical Center. Funeral services 11:00am Monday, March 29 at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, MO. Burial Rose Hill Cemetery. She was a member of The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah. Her dependability and concern for others led her to apply for a position at the new Parklane Medical Center where she worked for 21 years followed by six years with a large medical practice scheduling appointments for 54 doctors. She lived at The Grand Court and worked in the office as the Resident Concierge, helping new residents. One of her greatest enjoyments was helping to planThe Grand Court Candlelight dinners, to every last detail. Her greatest joy in life was being Bubbe to her beloved grandson Charles.  She was preceded in death by her husbands: Charles Lachman, 1965, and Alex Snyder, 1994. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Larry and Jenny Lachman, Plano, TX; daughters and son-in-law: Cheryl Berberich, Raytown, MO, Sheli and Carl Walton, Wichita, KS; grandson: Charles Aaron Lachman, Plano, TX; nieces: Bev Ruth, Marcia Ogren and husband Bob, all of Kansas City, Sandy Stoneham, Mandeville, LA.
