Aron Warren Obituary (2008) - Lauderhill, Florida

Aron Warren, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the age of 85. Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday, April 3, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Avenue. Burial at Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education or Kehilath Israel Synagogue. Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Lottie Warren, of blessed memory. Mr. Warren is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Karen and James Lesky, his son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Donna Warren and his grandchildren, Rachel and Douglas Spear, Jennifer and James DeGood, David Lesky, Zachary Warren and Stephanie Warren; sister and brother-in-law: Ann and Isak Federman, sister-in-law: Sonia Warshawski. Mr. Warren was a beloved husband, father and grandfather whose life was enriched by his family just as he enriched their lives. Born in Bendin, Poland, Mr. Warren was witness to the Holocaust and was imprisoned in a concentration camp. As a survivor, Mr. Warren shared his stories and lived every day to the fullest knowing how fortunate he was. He came to this country in 1946 where he met his wife Lottie, and began a new life.
