Arnold S. Winett Obituary (2006)

Arnold Seymour Winett, 89, of Tulsa, OK passed away Thursday, November 9, 2006 at his home. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Sunday November 12th in the Yukon Chapel at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with burial following. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Hadassah. Mr. Winett was born in New York, New York. He married his beloved wife of 55 years, Florence, March 29, 1942. Shortly after their marriage he served our country during WWII, in the Army Air Corps. Mr. Winett and Florence later moved to Kansas City. After Florence’s death in 1997, Mr. Winett moved to Tulsa, OK in 2000. He owned and operated Paragon Products, manufacturing Infant’s and Children’s clothing. Mr. Winett was also a wholesale distributor of postcards and souvenirs. He was a former member of Beth Shalom Synagogue in Kansas City and was a member of the American Legion. Mr. Winett was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Florence and by his son Paul “Pete” Winett. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Wendy and Martin Costello, McQuon,WI; son and daughter-in-law: Don and LuAnne Winett, Tulsa, OK; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
