Ariel Brakey, 86, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Menorah Medical Center. Graveside services will be 10:00am, Tuesday, October 9th at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributeons to a charity of the donor’s choice.Mrs. Brakey was born in Leavenworth, KS and was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. Mrs. Brakey was a Cub Scout leader when her three boys were growing up. The family says she always put them before herelf.Mrs. Brakey was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Floyd, in February 1995. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law: Moshe Brakey, Overland Park, KS, Jerry and Jeanne Brakey, Poteau, OK, Steve Brakey Fayetteville, AR.; great-grandsons: Brock, Liam and Lane; great-granddaughters: Madison, Michaela and Payton.
