Alan Cosner, 54, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Friday, March 7, 2008. Funeral services will be 10:30am Monday, March 10, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Ave. Burial at Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to Kehilath Israel Synagogue. Mr. Cosner was a former president and co-chairman of Lady Baltimore Foods, Inc. He was a member of Kehilath Israel Synagogue and a graduate of the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS. Mr. Cosner was born in Kansas City, MO and was a life long area resident. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Esther and Ben Cosner, his maternal grandparents, Bertha and Harry Esrig and his mother-in-law: Sylvia Goldstein. Mr. Cosner is survived by his wife of 28 years: Kerry Cosner; sons: Justin and Brandon Cosner, all of the home; sisters and brother-in-law: Nancy and Richard Kohn, Overland Park, KS; Gail Cosner, Overland Park, KS and Beth Cosner, Leawood, KS; his parents: Sylvia and Melvin Cosner, Leawood, KS and his father-in-law: David Goldstein, Overland Park, KS. Alan is greatly missed by his family and friends.
