STANLEY LAPIN SCHIFMAN Stanley Schifman, 68, of Leawood, KS, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2007 at St. Luke’s Hospital-South. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, May 29, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Avenue. Burial at Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, family suggests contributions to Kehilath Israel Synagogue or the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education. Mr. Schifman was senior vice-president of Investments with Prudential Financial, retiring in 2006 after 46 years in the financial industry. He was a member of Kehilath Israel Synagogue, Zeta Beta Tau fraternity, Oakwood Country Club, W.N.G.G. and the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education. Mr. Schifman was born in Kansas City, MO and was a life long area resident. He was preceded in death by his parents: mother, Mary Schifman, in 1992 and his father, Ben B. Schifman, in 1998. Mr. Schifman is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathee Schifman, of the home; son: Aaron Schifman, Prairie Village, KS; daughter and son-in-law: Alison and Patrick O’Grady, Lake Wylie, S.C.; brother and sister-in-law: William and Fani Schifman, Mission Hills, KS; sister and brother-in-law: Susie and Paul Gershon, Leawood, KS; nieces and nephews also survive.
