HERBERT L. SIEGEL Obituary (1947 - 2015)

Herbert passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Beloved father, friend, dentist, horseman, sailor, skier, musician, and pilot. Herbert Siegel was so many things in his life. He was compassionate, generous, and his selfless nature touched an unbelievable breadth. He was a highly skilled dentist of 40 years, and maintained a passion for helping others and improving the lives of all who knew him with each and every day. He had a thirst for knowledge and taught himself music, languages, and excelled at all he endeavored. He loved and gave to others with all of his heart. He was a rock, and had a strength, wisdom, and the ability to inspire happiness to all who knew him. He made the world a better place for others every day of his life. The light he gave will be loved and missed for all time. Herbert was preceded in death by his son, Adam Siegel and his mother, Dorothy Siegel. He is survived by his daughter, father, brother and sister, Lisa, Arnold, Steven (Amy), Susan Siegel, and dearest one Mary Kay. Funeral services will be at 12:30pm Friday, April 3, 2015 at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64131, with burial to follow at Sheffield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations encouraged to Hope Faith, or Congregation Beth Torah.
